Practical help to get back into work

Posted: 26th May

The Casey Job Advocates program is a free one-to-one service to assist Casey residents with finding work, developing their skills and addressing any work-related issues they are facing.

Who is eligible?

The program is available to anyone who is a Casey resident and feels they need support.

The program may be particularly helpful for:

•    Young people and students who are unsure of their future options
•    People with little or no previous work experience
•    People who are returning to work after time off
•    People who have not previously worked in Australia
•    People with specific requirements

Accessing the program

Casey’s team of Job Advocates will be out and about in the community meeting with residents. They will visit libraries, community centres, neighbourhood houses, shopping centres and places where people gather.

To find out when an advocate will be in your area or learn more about the program, email jobadvocate@casey.vic.gov.au.

If you want to meet them in person, check out their schedule.  They may be at a place near you!

The Casey Job Advocates program is supported by the Victorian Government’s $619.4 million Jobs Victoria initiative, which helps people looking for work to access the support, information and advice they need to find a job that’s right for them.
