About the role

This role sits in the Child Youth and Family Business Operations team as part of the Community Life division which strives to develop healthy, active, connected, and safe communities through the delivery of community facilities, events, experiences, and life cycle services from birth to older age.

The Child Youth and Family Business Support Officer will provide high level administrative support to the Child, Youth and Family services department in an effective and efficient manner.

In this role, you will:

  • Undertake administrative tasks for the staff of Child Youth and Family department.
  • As required, provide support to the Business Operations Compliance Team with Family Day Care functions.
  • Consistently deliver projects on time to the agreed standard.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to processes and systems using digital tools to influence positive outcomes.
  • Attend Business Operations Compliance team meetings.

About you

  • Ideally you will have some previous experience working within an administrative function.
  • Strong level of computer proficiency (across Microsoft Office Suite). 
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management skillset.
  • Willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check.
  • Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check.

Salary: starts at $64,665.45 (Band 4) per annum, plus superannuation
